Bitcoin rises and other cryptocurrencies diverge after Brexit deal

2019-10-17 12:59 pm

Bitcoin surged back above $ 8,000 on October 17 to breathe a sigh of relief after falling below $ 8,000 temporarily. Today's rally is important as the last few days have seen many investors join the bearish camp.

If Bitcoin manages to end the week above the $ 8000 level shown, we may finally see it consolidate again towards the $ 8,750 area. The UK had agreed to a deal with the EU on Brexit through the markets.

Digital Currency Analysis

Data from Coin360 showed that Bitcoin currencies behave like the British pound on Thursday, rising 1.3% against the dollar to trade at around $ 8100. Previously, its trading range has remained below $ 8,000 since it arrived there on Wednesday amid heavy selling pressure. As it has become a characteristic of Bitcoin in recent months, sudden up or down moves continue to cause local volatility.

The European Union and the UK today reached an agreement on Brexit. Analysts noted that the price of bitcoin moved according to the pound sterling, rising 1.3% against the US dollar. Earlier, the price of the leading cryptocurrency reached less than $ 8,000 and remained there.

Today marks a historic day like the European Union, and Britain reached a Brexit agreement. Many experts and analysts note that political turmoil such as Brexit and the US-China trade war have affected the price of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin earlier reached below $ 8,000 yesterday.

The Brexit deal still has to be approved by both parliaments. The BBC reported that Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn said the deal looked "worse" than negotiated by Prime Minister Theresa May and "should be rejected" by lawmakers.

Cryptocurrencies At the time of writing, Bitcoin was trading at $ 8,070; etherium was down 0.36% at $ 176.08; Ripple was down 0.36% at $ 0.2957
